Shooting sports is fun and challenging, this class will take your pistol shooting to the next level. This course is designed for the novice shooter who is looking to shoot more consistently in the bullseye. Our goal is to have you scoring in the X-ring.
This class will focus on mastering the fundamental skills, along with controlling your breath, heart rhythm, and tighten your groups up at all distances. Precision Pistol shooting is very dynamic with standing, one hand, slow fire, and timed firing on multiple targets.

This course is designed to introduce you to the many types of Precision Pistol Competition/Marksmanship, Shooting Sports Disciplines.
Focus Area:
During the course you will learn the differences in programs, so you can make an informed choice on which one is right for you.

Some matches have qualifiers, you will learn about them on the range after classroom time.

Steel Challenge

This course is designed to move you from stationary shooting to the first level of competition. Steel targets give you an immediate feedback when you are on target. This course can be indoor or outdoor and uses resealable or steel reactive targets. You want to shoot, move, and shoot some more.
During this course you will learn to look and read stages as well as plan your approach to shooting a Steel Match. For those looking to shoot something beyond a paper target and those looking to participate in steel match shooting, this course is for you!

Our Introduction to Carbine, Shotgun & Multi-Gun Action Shooting
Competition course is designed to give you the information you need to get off to a great start. You will learn about the most popular disciplines, scoring, equipment requirements, and a whole lot more. This fun and informative 4-hour course includes both in-class instruction and 1-2 stages of live fire.
Class Prerequisites:
Practical Handgun with either Practical Carbine or Practical Shotgun
1 hour class time, 3 hours range time
Required Equipment:
- Firearm: Your choice of a rifle and/or a shotgun, suitable for MultiGun/2-Gun matches:
- Modern Sporting Rifle chambered in .223/5.56, 300BLK, .308WIN or similar.
- Modern Sporting Rifle chambered in .22LR.
- Modern Sporting Rifle PCC chambered in Pistol Caliber (9mm, .40S&W, .45ACP.
- Pump or Semi-Automatic shotgun
- Firearms may have iron sights or optics.
- All Firearms must have a case/bag.
- All Rifles and Shotguns must have a chamber flag. If you do not have a chamber flag, bring a tie wrap for each.
- Minimum Ammo Requirements:
- Rifle/PCC Only: 100 rounds
- Shotgun Only: 40 rounds #6 shot to 00 buckshot
