Women's Introduction to Handgun

This course is designed around mastering the fundamental skills behind shooting handguns, both safely and accurately. The Women’s Basic Pistol course introduces students to the basics of handgun safety, including how to safely clear (unload) and load a semi-automatic pistol. This course is rounded out by taking those fundamentals and putting them into practice, both inside the classroom and on the range. This class is designed for anyone who desires to learn handgun fundamentals and to shoot consistent groupings at 10-18ft.

Women's Basic Handgun

Step two in our pistol progression, this class focuses on the basics of marksmanship with your handgun. The emphasis is on proper stance, grip, aiming, and trigger press in order to achieve consistent aimed fire. Using both inert Blue Training Guns and time in the Sim Room, students will be then individually coached in the basics before going onto the live fire range.

Women's Intermediate Handgun

Building on the single aimed fire skill developed on the previous class, this course takes the shooter to the next level – shooting accurate multiple shots on target while maintaining acceptable accuracy. The skills taught and practiced in the class will provide a base level of competency for students to then be able to continue on their pistol shooting progression whether for recreation, competition or personal defense.

- WP100 – Introduction to Handguns – You’ll learn universal safety rules, handgun types, ammunition, safe storage, and function.
- WP200 – Basic Handgun – There is a focus on the basics of marksmanship, and firearm familiarity. We emphasize proper stance, grip, aim, and trigger press in order to achieve consistent accuracy and self-evaluation.
- WP300 – Intermediate Handgun – This course takes the shooter to the next level. This class will continue to develop your trigger control and pick up the pace with follow-up shots. You will develop accuracy on demand through initial sight picture and recoil management.
- Private Lesson – Have any questions along the way? A Private Lesson is what you need! A private one-on-one lesson allows you to focus on the areas of your interest. The entire lesson is tailored to you based on your skill set and knowledge. If you want to learn a certain technique or perfect a specific shot, you can do so by working with our private lesson instructor.
